The 2025 Horrorstuck Awards were the biggest and best yet! This year, we had 8 display submissions sent to us to review and rank in the usual top three formula; however, this year was slightly different as it was the first year to introduce the Haunter's Choice Award. An award that can only be achieved by having the community vote for your display.

To put into perspective just how much bigger this year was than last, in 2024, we had a total of 19 communal votes, which at the time was how the overall 3 winners were decided in the competition. And then in the year of 2025, we received a total of 459 voting ballots completed here on our website, a substantial increase of over 2300%!

We want to thank the community for taking part in our little competition and, of course, all 8 amazing display owners who did a brave thing and allowed hundreds of strangers to review and rate their displays! Now with that being said, let's take a look at the results...

The Results

3rd Place

A Halloween Display
A 'Catecomb Creature' Animatronic From Toby's Display

In third place, we have 'Toby's Very Cool Display' by OTAMATRONICS. What we loved about this display is the use of space with all the props. There were tabletops, life-size props, and, of course, our favourite 9-foot-tall clown peeking over their fence! Toby actually submitted their display last year, and they won the 'Best Room Display category' but just lost out on the main vote. However, this year their luck has turned around, and not only has their display grown, but they have also earned a spooky ghost mug as the third-place prize!

2nd Place

The Marshmallow Man From Joe's Display

In second place, we have 'The Gannon House' by Joe Gannon. Where can we start with the Gannon House? Not only is this awesome Halloween display done for charity, but it has also seemingly doubled in size since last year.

This year, the display's flagship prop was undoubtedly the 25-foot-tall inflatable Marshmallow Man from the movie Ghostbusters.

Flooding the display are animatronics (some of which are USA exclusives) and incredible lighting alongside some amazing projection effects on the side of the house. A huge countdown to Halloween projection appeared in the lead-up to Halloween, making the statement clear. This is the Halloween house of the neighbourhood. Ran by display owner Joe Gannon, Joe has earned themselves a terrifying Mulberry candy and Mug set, both new from our 2025 collection!

1st Place

The 'Jack Stalker' Animatronic From Lucas's Display

And then, in first place and the winner of the 2025 Horrorstruck Awards, we have 'Ravenskull Manor' By HADHAMHAUNTZ. This is not just a Halloween display. Ravenskull Manor is a home haunt run by Lucas from Much Hadham, where every year they turn the local Much Hadham Forge Museum into a shocking haunted attraction.

Their haunt contains larger-than-life animatronics, grand lighting and best of all. A cast of scare actors who jump out, lunge and chase you as you venture through the museum. Lucas entered his haunt last year (at the time named Macabre Manor) and came in second place, just losing the first-place title to 'The Gannon House' by five votes.

This year, the 'Ravenskull Manor' won the judges over here at Halloween Horrorstruck for the sheer amount of effort put into transforming their space from a brilliant museum into a haunted attraction for Halloween night. A massive well done to Lucas for winning the 2025 Horrorstruck Awards!

The Haunter's Choice Award

Then, of course, we had the brand-new 'Haunter's Choice Award' for 2025. You know the drill for this one. Since voting for the main three winners is now done internally here by judges at Halloween Horrorstruck. The 'Haunter's Choice Award' is the community's turn to vote for their favourite. Remember that this award goes to the display with the most votes, and Halloween Horrorstruck has no influence.

After nearly 500 votes and 8 days of voting, the winner of the Haunter's Choice award was 'The Gannon House' with over 86% of the total vote. Massive congratulations to voters who came to vote for Joe's display on Facebook, as you all flooded in to vote on our website; the voting ballot actually temporarily crashed from all the submissions! We can't say that's ever happened before.

Below are the overall star ratings of each voted display. Each voter needed to give a star rating in order for their ballot to be submitted. This content is user-generated.
