This gruesome gourd was grown for the annual Manalutha farmers market. The rules are simple: grow the biggest pumpkin to win. Local farmer Delirious Pete had held the record for five years straight until this year, when, after lifting his prized pumpkin onto the judging table, a nasty strike of lightning hit the gourd, and it began to move. A devilish face sprouted from the side of the fruit, and a pair of evil, beady eyes stared down the judges as he rose from the table, taking the tattered tablecloth with him. And just like that, he flew away into the night. Locals say they can spot the pumpkin sneaking around the old Manalutha farmyard, but then again, who can you trust in Manalutha?
Upon activation, the Light Up Hanging Pumpkin’s eyes turn red, ready to scare all trick-or-treaters with its substandard size.
